Why Do You take Photos...?

I ask because my grandparents moved into a retirement village and we threw away 2 boxes full of slides and pics…? A life time of memories...didn’t mean anything to me...i didn’t know anyone in the photos! Do photos only exist as long as their creator…

Yesterday i flew into the Okavango delta for a 10 day stay...mostly work but you can be damn sure i'm gonna make some time for play and pics
i've only been here a few hour and have manged to
• Flew into the delta on a small 6 seater
• Drink beer
• Watch the sunset while lying in a hanging chair and listing to sigur ros
• Take pics
• Watched a blood red moon rising over the delta
i'll be posting pics to make you jealous...i can just tell this trip is gonna rock
and i can add some more awesome experiances to that list
• went for a swim in the delta
• went on a helicopter flight over the delta
